Auto Shop Australia

Terms and conditions

These terms cover purchases made from Auto Shop Australia through this website. Please read them before you place an order.

1. Agreement

Placing an order means you accept these terms. We may change them from time to time, and your order is governed by the version published when you placed it.

2. Product information

We aim to describe every part accurately, including the make, model, series and build range it suits and whether it is genuine OEM or quality aftermarket. Photos are representative, and the part supplied may differ from the image in finish, packaging or minor details.

3. Checking fitment

Each listing states the vehicle the part is intended for. You are responsible for confirming that your vehicle matches, including its build date and variant. If in doubt, contact us with your VIN before ordering. The fitment guarantee page explains what applies if a part does not fit.

4. Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Freight is charged on top and shown at checkout. Prices can change at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted.

5. Accepting orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when the goods are dispatched. We may cancel an order and give a full refund if the part is unavailable or the listing contained a price or description error.

6. Payment and ownership

Full payment is due before dispatch. Ownership of the goods passes to you once payment has cleared, and risk passes to you on delivery.

7. Delivery

Delivery times are carrier estimates and are not guaranteed. Details are on the delivery information page.

8. Returns and refunds

The returns and refunds policy forms part of these terms.

9. Warranty

Parts come with any manufacturer warranty that applies and with the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Warranty does not extend to damage caused by incorrect fitting, accident, misuse, modification or normal wear and tear.

10. Installation

Parts are sold unfitted, and installation should be carried out by a qualified person. Except where the Australian Consumer Law provides otherwise, we are not liable for the cost of fitting or removing a part or for consequential loss.

11. Liability

As far as the law allows, our liability for any claim about a part is limited to replacing it, supplying an equivalent part, or refunding the price paid. These terms do not exclude, restrict or change any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Trade marks and part numbers

Vehicle maker names, model names and part numbers appear only to identify the vehicles a part suits. Their use does not mean a part is made or endorsed by that manufacturer, unless the part is expressly described as genuine OEM.
